  • sending the USSD code using a wrong Sim card.

this is the major reason why the code is not working when you are trying to retrieve your NIN.

you are to send the code using the same sim card you used when enrolling for NIN.

example: if you used your MTN sim card for verification when enrolling for the NIN, you are to dial the USSD code using the same MTN sim card which you Used.
